Indeed. You know I feel that way. I leave nothing to show for my "doing". The spray falls back into the water, the carves in the snow get tracked over by the skiers and snowboarders behind, and the roads are empty of my speed, a split second after I pass. Soccer goals are invisible once scored and 100m dashes are lost to the wind, no matter how swiftly run.
With you my love, I pray I leave no evidence there as well, at least none that the eye can see.
And you, none on me.

curiousoldmanover 9 years agoIt is the transitory nature of much in life. Sometimes, usually the things most important, leave no trace save a burning ache or a warm comfortable glow.
