AN- I wrote this poem after my friend David killed himself (you will read about him in this poem). I really do feel this way. I would love feedback. Thanks - FFOTS4Life

Sin is sin my friends

And so I am leaving Judgment Day to Him

You hold your heads up high and judge

I am ashamed to say I cared so much what you thought that I wouldn't budge

But now I hold my head high unafraid of whatever you may decide

I have made mistakes my friends but that is what makes me human

I will face those mistakes but never will I present them to you

No my friends I am leaving Judgment Day to Him

You say in Christian love my brothers and sisters

And yet with what kind of love should you be allowed to judge

He told you he was gay and you persecuted him…some kind of Christian love huh?

Don't forget my friends that sin is sin - You persecuted him

The Bible says love thy enemies and you saw him as yours (why I'll never know)

Where was the love for him

Let me remind you sin is sin my friends.

You judge and yet are no better then him.

That my friends is why I am leaving Judgment Day to Him

I have a life I want…you will call it unnatural

But I will say who are you to judge the life I choose to play

I will find him and I will be his

You will hold your heads up high and make your snide remarks

And I will remind you I don't care

I am leaving Judgment Day to Him

Christian love is about acceptance my friends

Never should we judge

You don't have to agree with certain lifestyles

But never should you persecute those who are different then you

I am no one important my friends and neither are you

That is why I am leaving Judgment Day to Him

Christ tells us the greatest commandment is too love thy brother as you love thy self

How can you love my friends when you judge my friends

I will not judge…it is not my place…

That my friends is why I am leaving Judgment Day to Him.
