We lie awake in the mornings,
and remember those we lost.
We think of how much we gain
and how much our freedom really cost.
So many families are still together
after that terrible September day.
However, few families forever are torn apart
still grieving over how thier loved ones were left to pay.

A year later, we still remember
the planes that did Osamas' plan,
to rid us of our freedom...
but all they really did was unite this whole free land.
