To my love on Valentine’s day

You never asked
I never said
But now you know
It’s all there; blow by blow

I have a past
You did not know
Yours so banal
Mine so bad

I’m still the same
I love you so
I’m who you love
Your lovely “ho”

What’s past is done
It can’t be changed
All those men who had me once
Are dead and gone
They’ve left my soul

It’s I who’s here
Before your eyes
Naked, alarmed,
It’s me you want
Me; My charms

Take me, my love
Tell me you care
Speak your love
In voice or deeds

I near to hear
I fear, I fear
It’s reassurance
I hold dear
Without? It’s tears

Kiss me now
Kiss me then
A kiss of love
A kiss will do

Please my man
My big, strong man
Make love to me
You know you can

I need to feel
That magic bond
That comes about
United as one

I’m yours alone
You have my soul
Be careful now
Our future you hold

I have not said
Inside my womb
Resides our son
Make not me dread

Sally

THAT IS WHAT IT IS, WAS, AND WILL BE

but because the past encompassed all that was good, it must remain as the present, TK U MLJ LV NV

Forgive and love!

The past is past,

let it go!

That was her then,

it's not who you know!

It's you she wants,

it's you she loves.

Forgive her past,

it's time for doves!

Hold her tight,

hold her near!

She's not that woman,

she is your dear!

Don't let her go,

or you'll be sad!

Now she's good,

no longer bad!

Keep her close,

the one to wed!

To be always yours

and in your bed!

Don't deny the love you feel!

You know it's true, you know it's real!

It's your child she's bound to bear,

Hold her close, hold her dear!

Great poem, JB! Five stars for inspiration!
