Pumping iron, much stronger than my will.
Enduring sheer torture on this sleek treadmill.
Doing two hundred sit-ups and feeling the burn.
Reviewing reggae aerobic dance steps that I now have to learn.
Stretching tight muscles, doing lunges and squats.
Eating wholesome fresh food before it too rots.
Counting dwindling calories while eating my lunch.
Eschewing these carbs as something to munch.
I’m tormenting myself! Few things could be dumber;
But I'm wearing my bikini to Negril in the Summer!
