We could let our past be an encumbance on the future, or we could use a more logical approach, and that is to simply let it go. We live our lives knowing that at some point in life someone is going to hurt us. How we move on from this point is up to us. We could live in pain or learn from this pain and understand the human condition on a deeper level. There is an old saying out there that has helped many people on this issue. Actually there are several. But for now let's go with the one most suited for this topic. That is "What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger". Words to live by I believe. We are going to get hurt there is nothing in the world that is going to prevent this and time is a great healer. Here is another saying that seems to suit this discussion and that is "Don't cry over spilt milk". You know at one time this saying seem so stupid, but now a days it makes more sense. In this saying it states that little things are not as important as the bigger ones that haunt our lives. So just clean up the milk.
