It’s not as though we’re perfect
It’s not as though it’s right
I cannot claim I’m flawless
But aren't we worth a fight?

I cannot walk away now
It's not all that I can't do
The only word I cannot say
Can't say goodbye to you

I should wish I'd never met you
Should close my eyes and pray
But my faith has all but left me
And I can't make it through the day

You gave me definition
I know now who I am
But in the empty moments
My self's not worth a damn.
