warm silky feeling running over and through
fingers extended..liquid pushing askew
droplets are gliding with careless ease
pushed all asunder with the gentle breeze
gentle tugging and pushing at the locks of hair
the licks and the whispers as they tickle the bare
cheek tilted slightly to the heavens above
dark and rippling the roaring does shove

easing off towards another place
Remnants of anger are now empty space
Cleansed is the air that is now taken in
Fresh,crisp, clean and soothing within

Off in the distance the darkness does linger
the droplet hanging from the end of the finger
glisten it does as the new light shimmers through
as precious and rare as every morning's dew

Shadows recede and make room for the light
Scared off to other corners making it right
a trace of a smile touching once sad lips
lingering darkness fading in the slips

Dark curious eyes lower to trace
the course which this small droplet once did face
Watching it cling, suspended in light
gathering but losing its last attempted fight

Releasing its hold, and letting go
falling down to its puddle below
