LIFE HAPPENS

Mouth ajar and eyes unfocused, a soft moan escapes her lips
I slow my pace, drawing each stroke out
More baby, she retorts, I nee more
Speeding back up I too start panting
Something's got to give
 – and it does
Oh fuck, I groan aloud
The shock rolls up my back and across my brain
And another horde of baby makers jet out
Nine months later we are parents proud
