half of the homeless
are skinny  if the words
    life is nothing
got out of a bony face but
this showman will not lose
his audience looking grim
we all live in hopes of fame
he said confident of his own
    in hopes of money
    ay, man, gimmie some,
    no? you need'em yourself? how
much? grab any from this cup
    but to what end?
he continued now solemn
    the world will be there
    with or without our help
ay, man, can you help, any
change to spare  what are you
staring at? never saw a bum? ay,
    don't leave, don't be shy
ha-ha oh shit a cop where
was i that's right we attempt
    happiness yeah bro happiness
when we don't serve and even
when we do yeah it's even better
eeh it was shitty before us
and it will stay shitty long after
... thank you ma'am God bless you
