Why is my life like this?
Feeling so discouraged
Everything resists
But somehow, we've managed.

Everything we've faced
The difficulties we've come through
Just to share an embrace
For all time, loving you like new.

Will this deception ever end?
How long must we sneak about
A while we've been boyfriend and girlfriend
I'm scared of this burning out.

Needing your arms around me,
That feeling only grows stronger
My skin against your body
Feeling your heart flutter

against mine.
