5 LIFE STYLES

PRELUDE

I use the name of "Christine",
A young pathetic heroine,
For whom I wrote a lot of songs,
To underline rights and wrongs,
Of all my future lovers,
In search for passion pure and true,
In any place called Big Blue,
Future and past are passing by,
Meeting my lovers in the sky,
I'm one of love's wild rovers.

OPEN TO ALL

This is an open file,
For every life style,
If yours does not fit in,
The fault is not within.

In case you get it wrong,
This is an open song,
Unlikely lovers meet,
And if they try they fit.

If you don’t fit at once,
You get a second chance,
But if again you miss,
You were not made for this.

The future coming fast,
Devoid of love and lust,
Will meet with us somewhere,
To skip it, we don’t dare.

Each one will have a screen,
For things they have not seen,
Let's seat in front of it,
Our lovers to outwit.

Each one will have a car,
But not for going too far,
Just down to the shops,
To buy some new hopes.

The future coming fast,
The internet will blast,
Our lives in cyber space,
Into this new rat race.

Where do we come in,
My beautiful Christine,
Whatever is your name,
To make our bid for fame?

Which styles shall we choose,
Never again to lose,
In sex we have not felt,
An orgasm we could melt?

I'd bet you crave for fame,
I will not choose the same,
For love and lust I crave,
That goes beyond the grave.

STYLE MODULATION

You go for easy life,
Secure like in TV,
I wear a Cretan knife,
We differ, c' est la vie!

As I prepare for fight,
To face me you don’t dare,
You hate me in your flight,
We differ, c' est la guere!

To you love is unclear,
To me true love is pure,
You're hiding in your fear,
We differ, c' est l' amour!

ABOUT THEORY "X"

Thanks, tweveoone, for all comments on this and other poems, which are appreciated and taken onboard.

Sometimes I reply to a few:

1 very correct. If I'm not restricted in other languages why should I be in english? Language is my tool and not vice versa.

2 Fair enough!

3 Sometimes they bore me too, on the other hand they are like oxygen, polluted or not.

Don’t know who McGregor is.

THEORY "X" = A BIG SAGA

AT YOUR WORLD'S END = A BIG FINITE PERIOD

NON POSTED = A SMALLER FINITE PERIOD

THE NIGHTINGALES AT DAWN = A SONG CYCLE

LIFE STYLES = The fifth song of that cycle

Theory "X" written mostly in Greek, this is one of the few english songs in it. Can't publish the rest in this site as there is no Greek option.

Stuff

needs more stuff like Cretan knife. cars. tv

1. you are inverting syntax for the sake of a rhyme

For love and lust I crave,

2. and using cliches , as above

3. and this is a personal prejudice

rhyming coups have a tendency to bore me

5ed 'cause it's Christmas?

now is this McGregor's THEORY "Χ?
