Spasmodic chills continue their journey,
Throughout my being,
Numbing my churning aches,
The pain doesn’t go away.
Will it ever?

Does time ever heal?
Or does the mind just forget.
Curled up in the foetal position,
Rocking and silently screaming,
Why won’t the pain go away?

Only one knows my sensitivities,
Why, oh why can’t anyone else see?
Are they that blind?
Or don’t they really care.
I wish he was closer.

But would he be mine?
Has he let go of his demons?
In my dreams, he is mine,
Hand in hand we smile,
I am free!

Such yearning,

You sound so troubled but a beautifully written piece; full of soul searching passion & feelings. Well done ;)

life's journey.......

.... tie two birds together and though they have four wings they can not fly... and in the evenings the dove's sing of the love they had, hoping they will find them again... (I enjoyed your poem) (~_~)
