Lying here next to you know why am I always last to know eyes slowly close the door to my mind's slipping in the shadows behind nothing has escaped these walls are black and dead men can't recall why yesterday was just an hour glass has spilt the blood of kings and kingdoms of our dreams are lost again we'll find another way out on the edge of frozen oceans crash around me now I'm looking through the window pain is not a stranger things have happened to me I feel alive again I'm not quite sure what I should do about a hundred million miles away to listen to my thoughts of you... I listen to my thoughts of you

Resting in the arms of beggars never line the streets again I'm twisting in the chilling breezes wrap around my throat is cracked and soar beneath the sun has melted feathers from my arms are empty rooms like cages in my hell is never far away from you still bring my love and hope is all I prey for years and years to come to listen to my thoughts of you... I listen to my thoughts of you...
