Lit Friendship

A flirtacious gesture in hopes of more
A playful romp on the chat room floor
Hugs and greetings when you show
Kisses goodbye when you go

Silly comments drawing smiles
Ease into passionate use of wiles
Luring us into a private world
And caress with gentle, loving words

Soon even the yellow box is too small
Resisting friends in the main chat’s call
So we leave to go to the quiet IM’s
Giving apologies to please our friends

There the interest grows more deep
Confidences shared to keep
Sometimes typing lustful lines
Sometimes sharing painful times

A friendship grows and is savored there
Out of sight of chatters stares
Your true love wedded to you in real
You share yourself and remind me to feel

Thank you
