spread your fingers
wide
don't look
but peer
gaze
glimpse
and behold
the light inside

And give not those masses
their solace
dark and dull
their trudging lull
and lo
if tear should fall
for dying dream
amidst that dogged stream
don't tell
but cry
rage
burn
blaze
try

show them life
