Lively Love, Come Live in Me

byMeanderingpoet©

Could happiness never flourish here?
In an empty heart so pure
As if to corner an affection
And draw from it, it’s very life

And sorrow be a lonely doubt
Never left to fester here
Here inside an innocent head
And never paranoia strike a note of fear

Employ the touch of gentle hands
Guide the lost into their freedom
Allow love to pour like water
From the well of blessed divine

And have earthly waste never
Part these enduring hearts
And believe solely in me
With wishes of eternity
