These city streets call to me.
With lust in my eyes
I wander aimlessly
among the dead
Zombies walking
in and out
of alleys
Cardboard homes
mirrored walls
glass chapels.

The cement ocean
swallows them
and I
Recycled bodies
open wounds
feet covered with sores

Faces change
The will to die remains
