Everyone
Has lied to you
Since the moment
You were born
No one to trust
And nowhere
Left to turn

Now you're

Living on dreams
Letting them guide you
Through this fucked-up world
Living on dreams
In what is left
Of reality

The things
You believed in
When you grew up
Were nothing
But illusions
You tried to see
Through the smokescreen
Into reality

Now you're

Living on dreams
Letting them guide you
Through this fucked-up world
Living on dreams
In what is left
Of reality

The body's still young
But the heart's grown old
Long
Before it's time
Life left scars
That will never heal
But your spirit
Will always shine

Because you're

Living on dreams
Letting them guide you
Through this fucked-up world
Living on dreams
In what is left of
Reality

Living on dreams
In what is left of
Reality

What is left of
Reality

~

reads like a song, nice rhythm. the person in this song does not seem like they would have dreams to live on :(
