He is safe now.
His lace is locked inside.
Nobody will ever know
Or question his manly pride.

Nobody ever gets beyond the surface
And nothing passes through.
If he wants you to know about it
Then he will choose to tell you.

Because it is easier to deny
and to harbor all the pain.
Then to open up, discuss
and be forced to explain.

But safe is not happy.
It is neither good nor bad.
Safe is not alive.
Safe is just sad.
