So this is what if feels like,
loneliness.
Its silence beckons me into the darkness
and I go.
It cradles me in a cold embrace,
one I can not seem to ever warm.
I lose my sight in it.
My soul.
My being.
It consumes me and brings me down.
Yet even in the darkness there is light.
I have to find it,
seek it out and capture it.
It is so hard sometimes.
The darkness often wins the battle,
but the light,
will always win the war.
