At first you feel as if your heart will break.
With each beat you grow addicted to the ache,
And begin to draw your pleasure from the pain.
As you long to feel it over and over again.

Why is it when our souls begin to ache,
And we’ve taken all that we can bear to take,
That when we should finally walk away,
Our need to hurt causes us to stay?

When this longing creeps inside the lonely heart
‘Cause two soul mates will forever be apart,
It’s a substitute for feeling actual love,
An exquisite pain that we dare not remove.

wonderful stuff

loved this one Ross, having experienced that exquisite pain myself, its actually quite addictive and like all drugs even though you know its bad for you and you should just stop, once you are hooked its really hard to give up.
