Laying here now
Thinking of you
A wrinkled brow
Nothing I can do

Longing for an answer
Searching for hope
An uncurable cancer
Just trying to cope

My heart is ripped
Bleeding inside
Into my soul ive dipped
Ive sat and cried

Night after night
I lay in my bed
Wallow in my plight
Wishing I were dead

My future unsure
Affected every day
Ill scour for a cure
Without the golden ray

Always neglected
And forever branded
My spirit infected
Until the hammer has landed

Once again I sit and cry
My mind ive escaped
I no longer ask why
With a soul still raped

You have the rhyme down,

but a little punctuation to differentiate "Ill" from "I'll" would be nice.

And "ive" should be "I've".
