A warm hug,
a nuturing kiss,
were all I lost.
Walks in the park,
special days that would have been,
were all I lost.
My agony and ecstasy,
lived without your integrity,
were all I lost.
My sons first days,
tottering your way,
were all you lost.
Walks in the park,
special days with them,
were all you lost.
So many should have beens,
So many could have beens,
were all we lost.
