The distant screams begin to fill my conscience,
A constant torrent of pain and sadness,
A thousand times I've stayed and laid awake,
A reminder to the lives I've thrown away.

Every dance with you was laced in change,
Every dream of mine begins to fade,
The music makes me lose the name,
No, I don't have a...

No light remains when my name is said,
Only death that lays ahead,
A dozen wives left behind,
I have no tears left to cry.

Every smile you gave fed appetite,
Every thought of mine promised delight,
Nothing will take the names you gave,
I love you all still the same...

The man who squandered Heaven away,
His conscience screams he's to blame,
He whispers good bye to the night.
