Sometimes I think my mind will explode
I'm being led the wrong darn road
I haven't the means to find my own way
No choice do I have but to be lost today

Nothing here do I recognize
Tears are streaming from my eyes
Where and how did I go wrong?
I've been lost for way to long

In the distance I think I might
See someone standing to the right
I stare hard to see some sign
That it's truly one of my kind

I run and I yell
Once or twice I may have fell
Over roots I am leaping
Tears of joy now I am weaping

Closer and closer I get
This will be the first person I have met
For way to long have I been alone
Thank goodness this person I was shown

Coming to a hault as its side
I feel harsh pounding in my mind
How could I have been so misled?
By a product of nature that was shed

Sometimes I think my mind will explode
I'm being lead down the wrong darn road
I haven't the means to find my own way
No choice do I have but to be lost today
