Scratched and cut, bleeding from the pores,
The throbbing heart still seems so alive.
Masking the pain comes so easily now,
Putting up a face others see smiling,
Inside I burn bright blue.
I laugh at myself,
Unable to differentiate my own face
from the Pure persuasive mask.

I've lost myself.

I do not know who I am.
Spiralling down the dark labyrinth
I feel numbness overtaking my senses,
I cannot think, I walk along,
I do not know my destination anymore.
Turn left or right, it doesn't matter.

I've lost myself, yet again.

I'd held myself back from the pit,
safely and securly tucked in his arms.
Now that's gone, I'm thrown from the skies,
trying to fly with my broken wings.
I stare off into nowhere,
And I leap from the edge,
Into the darkest oblivion of painless existance.

Silence at last.

I don't have to feel anymore.
I don't need to live anymore.

I've lost myself.

Lost

Yes. It is, but not entirely. You can still know your destination even if you're lonely. Being Lost feels like being in the middle of a shoreless ocean in a dark night, without the assistance of stars, you don't know where you are, and where you are supposed to go...
