Lost By My Vision

It's unfortunate
And it only becomes apparent
When my mind is cleaned
By the sweet and welcome aroma of Mary Jane
Mary is a friend you see
She lifts me above my numb reality
Clears my mind
Offers me a time of self-love and tranquility
She makes me feel more capable
More caring
In a subtle way she offers me security
Security in two ways:
She lets me feel more at ease,
With myself
And helps me feel able to communicate with more people than my vision away from her does
She's not a dream,
Not even a woman,
She helps me when dreams and women do not...
