My heart is full, my love is here
My heart is empty, my friend has gone

She shows her charms and smiles with his heart
I smile and sigh but I’m glad she's happy

Old friends, wise minds say forget him
Not worth my heart broken with words he's spoken

Wondering why I cry? And why such a mournful sigh?
I cry and I sigh because a choice is nigh

Words forgotten in past promises, tears shed
Like rain from the clouds to wash away the memories.
