Your stare is kind and sharp
and cut’s through me surgically
I’ll fall apart if I see you again

By the time a greeting is met
Enough emotion had bleed from the wound,
to make me weak.
Your caring is so unkind.

I hold myself still,
as your friendship searches for my weakness.
You say everything you feel.
I say nothing.

You share your dreams of love and lover;
I gaze in the mirror looking nothing like them.
I live for my desire of you,
but I think I’ll fall apart if I see you again.

No comfort in the nearness of you,
no rest in the distance.
You wield your smiles, and sigh’s
as I tend my wounds,
as I fall apart
when I see you.
