Love in the Labyrinth
Round and round I circle
Trying to get my bearings.
Where am I?
There is but One I keep finding...
A reflection on my heart:
Her face...I am lost forever.
Lost in a wilderness of her beauty.
Fallen or uplifted, I remain in love with her.
Pain in her company is more pleasant
Than a thousand happy meetings without her.
I can see my way ahead by her light:-
So much motion...the endless dance: life is a blur.
Time is slipping, and my senses bear false witness.
I hear and I see, yet there is Nothing.
Only love; Love in the Void of the Abyss:
She holds me true; She holds me as sanity starts slipping.
Face of True Love, my dearest, a darkened star.
Babalon: A Queen whose Kingdom is in my heart alone.
I am fallen in the immeasurable labyrinth of Love
Forever lost, but never alone.
