'Love is for Poets'
The fool who said that
Never had the fool sat
For all smoking hours
Picking darkness' flowers
Never wandering home
Alone, wishing to roam
Alone
Alone

Alone

Alone, the poet wanders
His passion squandered
His pencil wracked
His mind cracked
An observer of life
A prisoner of Strife
Alone
Alone

Alone

When the band has all gone home
Sits the poet, Alone

It is said,
From the comfort of beds
'Love is for poets'
So climb in your cars
Leave behind your guitars
For love is for poets
and the band plays on....
