His words touch familiar
Like velvet fingertips
The most intimate of places
Where his body cannot dwell
Just for her like music written
She memorizes every note
Each crescendo takes her breath
Leaves her weak, wanting
Needing to be part of him
Rapt inside his dulcet words
She cocoons his strands around her
Willingly surrendering to his lexes
Syllable by syllable
Letter by letter
Marking her forever
Spilling across her soul
His ink on her parchment
Bleeding through
An inscription of ache
Transcribed indelible

Seductive prose

Nothing better than receiving ink on paper from your love...nicely done.

Wonderful

brings back a few memories for me

and I hope the letters I wrote had that effect on her.

A great read

Thank you

you

are fortunate to have such a "pen" pal love

there is nothing better.

I love this poem. Thank you.

Love letters & words

A pleasing use of words and image in a common theme.

"Rapt inside his dulcet words

She cocoons his strands around her"

A fresh image and phrase,

and a good double play.

Should the last letter better be a "Y"?
