With tears in my eyes,i open the door,
the end is here ,need we say more.
I have never been here before,
should i say less ,what was it all for,
sometimes life makes no sense at all.

We started out like a steam train,
every colour brighter, every word more potent,
Youre smile lit up the nights outshining the stars,
you opened up the door to my mind,
my heart felt so full, i feared it would burst,
I loved you all summer long.

Well summer turned to autumn,to winter,
like the trees that shed the leaves,it turned cold,
your smile didnt seem so bright,my heart was empty,
like the colours of winter, the words i heared were lifeless,
just as summer ended,so did our love.

In the street now ,into the pouring rain,
dont look back, you will just see sighing,
wondering where or what happened,
just a brief passage of time,in your life and mine,
i will never be eighteen again,...............ah long ago.
