Love oft lies dormant
deep in the recesses of a soul
until that one person,
that one spark,
brings it back to life
and it comes bubbling to the surface.
It starts slowly at first - - -
just a tingle now and then.
A twitch deep in your heart.
Then the warmth begins whenever they're near,
and before you know it,
the warmth lingers long after they're gone.
That's when their presence is forever
imprinted on your heart.
Just like yours is on mine.
