Lust is
A whispered caress.
Silky words of heated promise
as I melt
for you.

Love is
My hand in yours,
bliss.
Falling asleep at dawn
with you.

Loss is
Sorrow when you leave through my tears.
Hollow with emptiness.
My heart dies
without you.

The three L's of life

Simple effective imagery. Perhaps the love here is mistaken for infatuation, but the distinction is hard and beyond the scope of one poem...Thanks for this one.
