How do I love her?
How can I show it?
With these few words
From a so-so poet.

There once were drugs
I’m ashamed to say.
But thanks to her
I’m clean today.

Will we make it?
Will we last?
Just one chance
Is all I ask.

The words seem hard
They come so slow
But straight from my heart
These feelings do flow.
