I love you more with every passing day,
So much more that words cannot say.
This is nothing to be taken light,
I think about you through out day and night.
You searched long and hard for the girl you had dreamed.
I’m sure to you, you’d never find her it seemed.
You waited long as the time went past,
To me the time had been going too fast.
To each other we had not yet been found,
But eternity promised us to be forever bound.
Two people who sat worlds apart,
Have somehow been attached at heart.

Two shadows sitting at the ocean side,
Waiting for the warmth of the morning tide.
Forever together we could always be,
Could this possibly mean eternally?
The life we are living is picture worth taking,
To show the promising future we’re making.
As the morning came you were at my side,
No longer my troubles did I have to hide.
We came together slowly but true,
Our hearts became one by the soft morning dew.
As the sun came around the darkened bend,
Our lives had already slowly started to mend.

The sun rose brightly in the noontime sky,
As bad memories and pain began swiftly to die.
It was only each other we had yet to save,
As together our feet were cooled by first wave.
We’ve found each other, and that’s all that matters,
We’ll remember our past and our pain as it shatters.
Together forever we will always be,
This means eternity for you and me.
You’ve made me happier than you could guess,
That’s all I could ask for but nothing less.

In my heart you’ll always be alive,
I promise you, together our lives will thrive.
I’m glad we made it across the shore,
True love was knocking at our door.
As our feet are cooled by evening sand,
We walked off the shore, surely hand in hand.
As I look up to the nightly sky,
Thinking of you, I let out a sigh.
I smile now, because you’re in my heart,
Even happier to know, this is only the start.

i got caught at

"So much more that words cannot say." ill grammar. It seems petty, but when you have to stop and think about a contraction in the beginning of a poem it's a turn off.
