Gentle love,
Softer than the breeze
Your lips to mine
As we stand frozen in ages
Hearts beating once,
Twice more,
While bodies strain
To meld as one
Each facing forward
Into the other's past.
A sacred slap
Of flesh to flesh
And teeth gritting
In the rage of our desire,
Fingers wresting control
From one another.
Groaning, twisting now
as we merge,
and emerge,
and merge again.
Two bodies steaming
in the jungle of sheets,
to lie collapsed,
drained,
and apart.
