My love’s smiles
curls My insides
like some dragon lair lurking
caverns unfold
like the
billowing sails of the
North winds,

Fluttering as the heartbeat
of a newborn chick

those swan eyes
dulcet and dear
demonic gazes will never wither
nor pale that clear
brilliance of the rabid Moon

Sun, stay away!
What I need I succour from you
is the gift of darkness
so My beloved can see the
splendour in the flowers

such portents are embedded in
His psyche
