With a small smile and heart felt sigh, I watched her true self emerge,
Not in a physical way, no her inner growth was showing, allowing her soul to purge.
The lovely way she jailed her doubt and chained her pain,
She allowed herself a place in my heart, feasting on her new held reign.

Watching as she spoonfed her urges, starving her inhibitions,
Drowning the old haunted images of feeling unworthy, swimming now new traditions.
Enjoying her choices as she expands past the mundane,
Picking erotic and bold, never settling for plain.

Allowing her to pull me, showing me more,
She takes me places never allowed to visit, to tour.
Take me higher, let your new you roar,
Wanting nothing other than a night to explore.

Her wings are growing, she needs now to soar,
She fuels her own self discovery, not afraid of searching for more.
With her journey almost complete, broken parts healed,
Free to love freely, her new choices now sealed.

The echo of a long dead past, neatly expunged,
She smiles with new freedom, leave the grunge.
I smile knowing she has come to me, transition complete,
The wings now fully formed, so proud watching this feat.

Now free to say I do, no storms to face,
Whatever doubt we share, now gone, no trace.
No need for me to be your only shining light,
Take me for a ride, soar us to meet the night.
