An armored knight rode all alone
Worn from battle far from home
Made famous by word and deed
Riding upon his mighty steed
He stumbled upon a crumbling tower
Last vigil of an ancient power
He looked upon it in trancing wonder
Treasures inside did he ponder
He climbed down and drew his sword
Then went inside without a word
The knight crawled through broken halls
Faded glory hanging on the walls
Upon a staircase he did stumble
That's when he heard the frightful grumble
The beast leaped upon him with lightning speed
So grateful his blade was freed
The battle was over just that fast
So grateful his luck did last
Up the stairs he finally crept
Where he listened as she wept
A enchanted maiden he had freed
An ancient heir with mighty need
He took her virtue then and there
Bound to him, his lady fair
