Luck you

The kind remarks you directed at me
intellectually I know were meant to ingratiate favors
but my heart bartered them for something else
how could you have known
that you could hijack my heart
with a wink a bag of peanuts
What a pathetic plight
in reading you all wrong
Lucky you
presented with the sad spectacle
of fatherless female baby chick
Is it possible that these self deprecating insights
temper my character failings
With loss of dignity acknowledged
Is there a chance
you find these qualities attractive?
