Memoir's of Satan's Betrothed: The Seduction

While sitting upon my lonely step,
I watched him stroll up my street.
And oh     how fine he did look
In those black jeans
And that stunning red-silk shirt.

I was pleasantly surprised
When he stopped at my gate.
He smiled to me and said,
"Lovely day isn't it?"
Returning the smile I replied only, "Yes."

Did his eyes glow red?!
No that couldn't be.
He was so self-assured
And so pleasing to see.

I stood from my step
And sauntered his way.
"I've never seen you around,"
I said enjoying his presence,
And so hoping he enjoyed mine.

Some time did pass
As we talked, laughed, and chattered
About life, dreams, and most unusual fantasies.
All of which I would never care to divulge,
Yet the words came easy with him before me.

Again with his eyes
And now a clawed-hand.
Doubt I that my mind
Is on it's last strand?

And yet before long he did join me
In my plain and quite ordinary house.
First to my living room , then to my kitchen.
And some point we adjourned

To my very lonely bed.
Need I say our talk became scarce.
Panting and groaning and other such noises
Became the conversation of our
Passionate rouse.  And after we had finished
And after we were done

His eyes did glow red
And he was no man!
To learn       I had been
Seduced by Satan.
