To get close to you, what does it take?
   For you, this heart of gold would every wish forsake.
Just to hold you close, and safe, and near.
   Witnessing your every smile, wiping away your every tear.
To stand so close to you, 'neath Moon-filled skies,
   On a starry night, gazing deep into your eyes.
I'm under your spell, there's magic in the air.
   You've enchanted me so; love this deep is so rare...

I want to look into your loving eyes,
     and hear you speak my name.
Your breath upon my shoulder as we embrace,
     you my heart which refuses to tame.
I stand, a man before you, my heart within your hand;
     oh, Dearest One, this is no game!
And if you e'er did hurt me,
     my love for you would be the same...

Oh, Sweetest Love, I love you so!
 It'd hurt too much to let you go.
Hold me now, 'cause I want you to know:
 I'm yours forever; mind, body, and soul...
