Man's burden is the sword,
metaphorical or real,
legal, political or steel

There comes a time
when diplomacy and negotiations
have all come to nought,
and right and wrong
have been by blinded justice
forgot

When the agents of Rome
want your soul,
woman, and land,
and peace is not something
they understand

And the only thing for it
is to stand in the sand,
sword and shield in hand,
and tell them that
they've met a man
