Crimson streaks and dark'ning pools
Flowing 'cross jagged glass shards
Shattered, reflecting red chaos
Amid diced and shredded flesh
The price demanded and paid
In the marketplace of Venus
Flowing carmine capital
E'er expended without reserve
Without return or refund
Of their bloodied investment
Within Venus' deadly exchange
Where Other's razored remnants
Rend self-sacrificial subjects
Acts of callous rendition
Carried e'er eagerly out
Debts unreservedly paid
By the self who offers troth
Within the heartless trough where drains
Crimson flows of love's victims
Rushing heedless to their doom

I read vaguely familiar, vaguely amusing, shards don't cut it, tr. It starts cliched and ends that way. Has some nice touches of alliteration.

New Poet? a hearty 100!
