I've always sensed You, in such hues
Your temple.
Wood there you remember,
labor to affirm
alítheia; scored within just as I've watched

your lashes,
in harsh self-depreciation.
Reflection threatening
to root,
cast of a world that has long since forsaken

the womb; stigmata.

How you can deed yourself to no One
yet marked; to be loved.
