Master's Touch

He’s stepping back in silent praise
Not of the work or beauty raised
For wondrous love of sight now known
Of beauty held within the stone

Taking not for gifts he’s blessed
Daring to see with heart now lead
Sharpen touch honed within the fire
Stirring core of enriched desire

With fingers toned, each crevice known
A supple sculpture lays now prone
Eyes blurred in crystal prism light
Capturing now immortal flight
