LEMONIA (F)LEAP EDELTRAUD => THROUGH NEED AND DECENCY => WEEKLY REPORTS

HILLSIDE
MONDAY EVENING

MATRICULATION DAY

You're joining the Matrix,
Matriculation Day!
Forget your old theatrics
and find a better way.

There's wisdom to acquire,
and truths you have not seen,
come back from Nowhereshire,
become a human being.

*****

Beware of academics,
fast money and fast food,
all three are epidemics,
they do more bad than good.

Today they will chose you,
measure and classify you,
tomorrow they will loose you,
always they will defy you.

It's called matriculation
to find where you fit best,
forget your inclination
and study all the rest.

It may be beneficial,
cause you're a hopeless case,
(this fact not yet official,
but view it face to face.)

Social studies thrive
and "Freud School" is dead,
as long as we're alive
there's hope to find a thread.

*****

Somehow I rejoice,
gradually you get sane,
making the right choice,
beware of acid rain.

False knowledge is acid,
inhuman and untrue,
it makes your brain so placid
that darkness will ensue.

Beware of academics
with lofty ideals,
polemics on polemics,
under the table deals.

Beware of academics,
they usualy talk shit,
science is not gimmicks
to change as they see fit.

Beware of any brass sound,
that's hanging from a tree,
but most, my Edeltraud,
beware of you and me.

Loved it

what else can I say?

S1 is a little lame. S3 much stronger, you may want to think about a reshuffle or weed

End where it goes were somewhat expected, is perhaps perfect for the tone.
